Partnering with the Right People

Growing up my Mother use to always say to me "bad company corrupts good character". She was always telling my brother and I to make sure we are choosing the right friends and not hanging around the wrong crowd.

My house was the hangout spot because my mom wanted to know exactly who we were hanging out with and essentially wanted to screen our friends. And she was always right! I will never forget her telling me that she didn't get a good feeling about this one particular friend of mine and I always defended him. He was polite, respectful, said all the right things but my mom just knew that he was bad news. Sure enough he made one too many bad choices and ended up getting into trouble with the law.

In business it's the same thing. It is very important to know who you are entering into a partnership with to protect the integrity of your brand. Performing background checks and screening new potential clients who are interested in using our services is a practice that we never neglect. At Sentinel our goal is to form long term relationships with all of our clients so it is imperative that we know who we are aligning with as a company.

This past Friday we concluded another run of the Friday night live event which takes place at the Royal Ontario Museum. Two years ago we formed a partnership with the ROM to compliment their in house security team as they transform the museum into a giant dance party with DJ's, live music, food and drinks. Every Friday for 9 weeks at a time anywhere from 1500 to 3000 people would party with the dinosaurs, mummy's and all the other exhibits at Canada's largest museum.

We would like to congratulate the entire ROM staff on another successful run of #FNL and also thank them for continuing to grow and develop our business relationship. It is our pleasure to serve the Royal Ontario Museum as their third party security provider.

We will see you on New Years for another unforgettable party experience at the ROM.
