At Sentinel Security we are always looking to grow our team by bringing on the most qualified personnel out there. Our HR department's email inbox gets flooded daily by hundreds of applicants submitting their resumes hoping to get an opportunity to join our elite army of the finest security personnel Toronto has ever seen.
There are a number of key elements that we are looking for when reviewing resumes and today I will be highlighting one of the most attractive words to catch our eyes.
"Military" Why? Here are a few reasons to help you better understand what it takes to be a Sentinel Soldier
You must be humble, teachable and have the ability to take direction and follow orders
You must be firm and authoritative
You must be professional
You must have a personality
You must take pride in your appearance and your uniform.
You must not be afraid to roll up your sleaves and get your hands dirty while in the line of duty
You must have a heart to serve your team, the client, the public and our city as whole.
This Friday November 11th we will celebrate yet another Remembrance Day. A day dedicated to all the brave men and women who have devoted their lives to a life of service. A day where we will honour those who have made a choice to live sacrificially so that you and I can have better lives not just for us but for our children and our children's children. A day to reflect on the truth that our freedom was purchased by the bloodshed of those courageous soldiers who gave their lives for us. And lastly a day where for 60 simple seconds at the eleventh minute of the eleventh hour we will observe a moment of silence where we will stop all that we are doing and think of those who have gone before us as well as our sons and daughters who are still serving our country in the ongoing fight for our freedom.
Lest we Forget!
